F/S: Wrecked R35 Nissan GTR - $30,000

I'm posting this on behalf of the owner of my company, Supercar Sensation. We had a brand new GTR that was wrecked about 2 months ago and needs to be sold AS-IS. When crashed, the car has around 2000 miles I believe (give or take a little bit). Most of the damage is around the front, passenger side fender area and the air bags did go off. The engine, firewall, tranny, and driver's side and rear of the car are mint. This is a relatively easy fixer-upper if you know what you're doing.

I know this posting is a little vague, but if you are seriously interested, let me know and I will send pictures, and more detailed info on the car. Please PM me only if you are really interested though.

Regards,
Dave Harrington

Not that I don't believe you, if this was an easy fix for someone who knows what they're doing, couldn't your company find someone qualified to fix it and then just keep the car or sell it for more?

We already got another one, and we just want the old one off our hands. Insurance isn't claiming it as totaled because the firewall is still in mint condition, so we literally just want it off our hands.

I think a good investment strategy for a company buying a GT-R, is to not wreck it. Good luck with the sale.

We didn't wreck it. It was a customer, not an employee. The customer took off traction control during a drive and lost control. Prior to the drive, the customer signed a waiver form saying they wouldn't take off traction control. The customer was in violation of the waiver and he took care of the costs and we bought another GTR 2 weeks later. So thank you for your input, despite how mislead it was...

Haha, stupid customer. That's all I have to say. Maybe consider bumping up your age limit to 25?

No, we're keeping it at 21. Like you said, "stupid customer." Not all of them are that dumb. Most people respect the cars and don't want to get in an accident or push the envelope too much. We're all about having fun within reason. We make the customers sign a waiver stating various rules, including that they won't turn off traction control. If they do, they are 100% responsible for the cars if they crash... its just that simple.

Just curious, why would he turn off traction control. It's purpose is for better control of the car right? Did he think he was a pro and didn't need traction control?

I would have turned the VDC off within seconds of leaving the parking lot also.
