WTB: CarFax for one vehicle

Anyone subscribe to carfax? I am willing to purchase one carfax from someone because I cannot justify paying $40 for only one. Looks like they jacked up the prices since the last time I was in the game for a car.

Hello I'm new here with an 01 M 20 and I am looking to purchase the car history just wondering on the carfax vs auto check reports. Any suggestions on pros and cons?

I'm looking at emissions system repairs and just want to know what's been done so far etc.
