where is the crankshaft position sensor
Indeed.
Although these are much clearer (and are cropped, without that massive useless blank area):

And you really need to learn how to make descriptive thread titles. What makes you think that 'where is' is an appropriate and valid title? You've been here since '02, surely you've read the forum guidelines at least once;

People, please be more descriptive in your subject titles. For example, "cone intake," "red/clears," "suspension," "emblems," are not subject titles...they are isolated words. Describe the main problem/question/comment in the subject line ... please! Don't type one or two words and make the rest of the Org try to guess what you're trying to say.
And of course, this extends to the body of your post. Please be as descriptive as possible.

i have a basic question: does the cps throw a code when its bad?? cause my car when its warm and after sitting at work for 3 or 4 hours cranks longer. usually this happens in the summer. thanks>>>
Depends on whether you mean 'dirt' in a literal sense, or that it's just dirty. Ferrous metal shavings on the sensor can throw off the readings, yes.
