5th gen Off Topic Thread (Official Ghustle thread v1)
I've never been much of a "stance" guy, anyway.
That's why I'm dropped on 350z S.Techs, and not slammed on coilovers.
I think a set of 18's, in the right width, of course, can be done. It's just a matter of figuring out which ones work.
I really like the RPF-1's.

Don't like them. Honestly.
1. Chunky tires don't look right on that car.
2. Too much wheel gap
3. The purposes of a stretched tire is so you can tuck it.
4. He's tucking, but he has to be sow low to achieve it that the horizontal gap in front and behind the wheel looks like ****.
But all this is just my opinion.

2. Like I said. Needs a lower.
I don't think these would look half bad if the car was dropped about 2".3. Well, I'd assume you'd have to tuck on a G with 11" wide rims, regardless of said rim height.

4. Meh. The car is meh in general. But then again, like I said, I'm not a "slammed" guy.
Everyone has personal tastes, and what they like to see on a car. For me, I've always been a bit more into the function > form. I'd rather roll around on a light set of 18x's that look decent than a set of 20x's that weigh a ton and a half.
I also don't think they make the Konig Milligrams or the Enkei RPF-1's in 20x's. I could be wrong...
1. I mean, yes, the tires might be a little TOO much. But at least he had the right mindset, instead of trying to play off the, "Zomg, I have bigger rims," and strapping rubber bands on where it's not necessary. In this case, I might've gone one or two sidewall sizes smaller.

the car is pretty low, but his tires are pretty decent size. Its just difficult to pull off really big tires on a G, but If i had a G it would look similar to that one.
as soon as she gets home tonight.i know she did it last night about 11pm.also i'm pulling the plug on the 4th gen coilovers tomorrow morning they play too many games i gave them plenty of time and i needed them for the 4th gen myself so yesterday i ordered a full set of Quick Struts until i can fet top plates from K-Sport for a 4th gen to swap on the 5th gen coils and put the BC's back on the 5th gen
Grab some when you can BC's actually, Coilovers>everything else seriously, you should know that already. AS far as wheels and tires i think you should do what he did, another local car here in NC

What size rims is dude running? I'm assuming they're 18's or 19's, but the way that car is set up, they look much larger than that.
What do u expect when u don't throw a new thread down with all the information...can't expect everyone to PM you and have abjolly day, then b!tch that u don't got enough people....come on. U haven't even responded to my PM from the weekend, man.
Not ragging but youve gotta understand...

Ehm...
...wat?
This is surprisingly poor grammar coming out of you, Amerikaner...
I know. I love coilovers. But on a DD car, that sees upwards of 600 miles a week, and all kinds of inclement weather, I figured a drop on Z springs and struts would be good for now. The car is actually surprisingly low. The guy at NTB had a hard time getting the car on the alignment rack yesterday.

As far as CO's are concerned, BC, Stance, D2 have been holding up damn well around here. I know multiple people on them and have no issues. BCs ride the best thou, they are almost stockish in ride quality.

But the second pic is just inspires me to say... meh another g35.

Blame swype. I'm at work on the cell phone...my editing and proofreading abilities are severely hampered in this situation...not to mention my fat fingers hold me back

Was trying to tell Cj that he can't expect to get a bunch of folks to PM him and get the deal on XYZ going without a dedicated thread with all the info in it.
Good. Remember how many insane looking G35s are out there. That one is just simple and classy, not overly lowered, no stupidly stretched tires. The car looks elegant, there are a couple of touches i would change, paint the trunk for one and get the Brembos but other than that, to me thats the way G35s should look.

This looks interesting. VERY interesting. It's weird to see the Forza franchise stepping away from full racing sims and getting into the street racing aspect of motor sports. This looks like Forza's attempt at a Need For Speed Pro-Street-style racing sim.
But I bet they pull it off better than EA did.

The G is a sports luxury car. Even the "Skyline" variant in Japan is marketed as a sports luxury car. Why go and make it look goofy with all kinds of lips, carbon fiber, excessive camber, etc.?
Clean the car up, make it look classy, and maybe a little understated. And then let it be.
I ain't "comin at ya bra", all I'm saying is that you can't go around and go "I'm gonna pull the plug on those 4th gen deadbeat clashez wannabees" about the XYZ deal when several claim to have PMed you and asked questions for clarification on the deal...only to hear nothing back or a "check the thread".It would have been better to create your own thread specific to the XYZ deal and lay out the terms in it. Dates, requirements, options, etc. That's all I'm saying dude. Would likely have avoided confusion and you wouldn't have gotten as many PMs needing clarification from folks.

When I was low, the turn in on the car was very hard, it fought me.
But when I set the height up to about a 1.5" drop, car turned in w/ minimal effort, felt like I was going to tip it over by whipping it so hard around corners.
