Well I did a horrible job of recording the initial start-up but the car did start up just fine. Next step is to work on the transmission mount, pull engine/trans out and button everything right up so this hunk of junk can get back on the road...

The jwt clutch is very nice and will hold anything you can throw at it.

Thanks aackshun.

I'm case anyone is wondering, schmellyfart is making a batch of these timing rings that have just been proven to work. PM him for more details and to reserve yours in case you ever plan on doing the 6 speed swap. Do it soon, as he want to get this 1st batch in by the 18th of this month.

I've just decided to go ahead and order them all on Friday. It would take too long to get deposits from all of the window shoppers.

More updates to come. Il be installing my wideband and emanage soon and modifying my abs bracket to fit since I don't like the idea of the abs module flopping around while driving.

Like the actual speed? Yeah it does feel like its off by like 3-4mph I've always wondered if it was the wheel/tire combo I have now. Do you have the same issue?

New fuel economy numbers are in. Just under 27mpg (26.96 according to my calculations)
Should pay off in the long run. Keep in mind my car is practically stock (hehe) weight wise as I have done practically no weight reduction.

Next up SSIM. Gave it a semi decent polish. Should have it installed in the next day or two hopefully.
