Anybody tried the Headlight Armour yellow fog light overlays yet and are you happy with them. A friend of mine had the LaminX one on his STI with the stock H11 55 watt lamps and they turned brown after 1 year of use. Any thoughts?
Update- Almost of year of use and no fading or discolor. Not bad for a $15 investment

Easy installation on the yellow fog light overlays. Now we will see how long they last.

This may come off as corny but I just recently got a 2012 Maxima S non leather seats.

While seats are extremely comfortable I was wondering if anyone has taken the time to get seats covers?

Would be interesting to know

Would love if my 2014 had come with an electronic rear window roll up shade.

Just curious, since I don't see any update on he original post... Anyone making engine internals for this generation VQ35 yet? Mainly looking for top-end parts like cams, cam gear with wider adjustment (like the old Nismo ones), springs, retainers, oversized valves, etc...

I know it's one of the most common, but you can't go wrong with tints... Makes the car look sharp

was wondering about internals to the engine as well. I haven't seen anyone take the leap yet to do internals. Wonder what it would do to the max.

Led drl

Does anyone have any great info on LED DRL to install in the air vent for brakes next to the fogs?

Thanks.

There's only one way to do it, and it involves a dremel and cutting of the air vent since it is not a removable piece. There's two methods to the install: (1) cut the honeycomb portion of the vent to fit the LED or (2) cut the middle block piece that separates the two honeycomb pieces to fit the LED. From there, you will run the wires to the battery and tap into an accessory line so it will come on during engine start. This second part is dependent on your LED, but you may also have to do extra wiring so the LEDs will dim when your headlights come on as it will resemble a high beam light at night. Some LEDs will simply turn off when your headlights are on.

The clearest picture for the first method I have found are here:

CARB Compliant CAI

Just bought a 2011 and was looking to do a few light mods. Does anyone know of a CARB compliant CAI system for the 7th gen's? I live in one of "those" states that have adopted the Cali requirements.

Also, has anyone installed a Borla exhaust on their 7th gen? Any other cat back exhaust suggestions? Was thinking of a Stillen until I read up on them a little more and saw all the complaints.

Actually checked with Jim Wolf Technology and according to them, the 7th gen heads are some sort of hybrid between the DE and HR heads and they are still trying to figure that out. I want cams also, but at this point people are still developing stuff for it.

Just wanted to give a plug to Joe over at Racingline in Canada; I needed some rear endlinks and he got them out to me overnighted. I paid for shipping and all that but he was very prompt and responsive in helping me get this taken care of.

Thanks again, Joe!

Cams

These are the only cams I can find available. But I was wondering if anyone has thought about doing an HR head swap
