Side window vents

I'm posting a new topic since it's 2018 and the older older threads are few and haven't been updated in a while. I'm hoping anyone with these installed could share there experiences and what kind you have installed and pics.

Is there any low profile units that work and look good? Truthfully I hate the look of these on cars, and would normally never consider it but the Maxima is annoying me when it rains, even if is a slight rain, not only does rain drip in... The wipers when on make the water fly in also, I could deal with a little mist here inside like my other cars but I can't stand the water drops that pour in.

you talking about window visors?

I use
Amazon Amazon

had them since november and they work great.

Got them for the same reason, i always drive with my windows open and hate when I need to clean my windshield because I know it will drip in, no longer happens with these. Obviously heavy rain and it will still leak in lol

use adhesive promoter for extra security.

i only cleaned the surface with isopropyl alcohol.
then strong cross-winds took one side.
the clips stayed behind.

will be messy, so apply only on contact areas... or places will not be noticed outside of tape application.

From the site: "The adhesion promoter can also be cleaned from most surfaces using MEK or acetone solvents." Question: MEK or acetone solvents on clearcoat? Wouldn't that mess with the clearcoat and/or painted surface? I take it the adhesion promoter is a coating over the clearcoat? Is it sticky before laying down the 3m tape?
