I think everyone who has the rear clears has been waiting forever for these to be made. Add me to the list.

I'm interested. Been wondering why fronts weren't made first. Maybe the manufacturers just want more money.

In my opinion, on your white car I would prefer to see the sidemarkers tinted dark, like with the smoke color spray tint or something like that. I think the contrast would be nice and would make them show up nice.

but if he has the nosemask on you will hardly see smoked lenses(if that's even legal). If you keep the nosemask on, get the clears. If you don't keep it on, then smoke or keep them stock. Just my humble opinion.

Someone ALWAYS comes in at the last possible second and wins the auctions on me all the time also - GRRRRRRR! Order from autodynamic.com or procarparts.com if you want them soon. If you do keep the mask on then I would agree with CoolMax's opinion above.

side markers

I want the front clear side markers also, i think the orange takes away from the car. There is no choice as of now, so I tinted mine recently and it looks a lot hotter, but it didn't go with the back ones so i tinted the back ones also and i like the way it looks much better.
Maximizd, in my opinion tinted looks hot.
Peace

And now for a word from our sponsor . . .

I called Autodynamic.com yesterday and spoke to Roger. Roger told me that the front clear lenses were in production and that he was expecting his initial shipment to arrive by the end of next week. He said he hadn't established a price for the lenses yet. I asked him if he'd be interested in doing a group deal. He said he wasn't sure.

Here's my suggestion. Give Roger a call at 626-288-7210. Tell him you're from Maxima.org and you heard that the front bumper lenses would be available at the end of next week. Tell him you'd be interested in participating in a group deal if he's willing to sponsor it.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

TINTED SIDE MARKERS

FIRST I TINTED JUST THE FRONT ONES BECAUSE THEY'RE JUST PLAIN UGLY. I DID IT WITH WITH A SPRAY CALLED TINT SHADES OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, SPECIALLY MADE FOR THE LIGHTS.
I PUT NUMEROUS COATS, SO THE ORANGE DOESN'T GET OUT IN THE DAY TIME, BUT IT STILL LIGHTS UP AT NIGHT. I DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY IT LOOKED BLACK IN THE FRONT AND RED ON BACK, SO I JUST TINTED THE REAR ONES ALSO.
I WASN'T SURE IF IT WAS GONNA LOOK GOOD, SO I JUST PUT ELECTRICAL TAPE ON IT, AND IT LOOKED BLACK, SO YOU CAN DO THAT TO SEE FOR YOURSELF UNTIL I TAKE SOME PICS.
PEACE

What about the law?

Aren't you supposed to have some orange reflector on the side of your car? Quite frankly I don't want to give the police any other reason to pull me over...my car can get me into enough trouble as it is!!

What can you get away with here? Does anyone really know? What about having front clears with some kind of small orange reflector between the front wheel well and the front doors?

I have to agree with some of you here...I think the red rear markers look good on the Icelandice Pearl Maximas (mine).

That is why I haven't bought the clear rears. I think it would make the (Icelandic Pearl) Maxima look too washed out. On the flip side, I think rear clears look awesome on the Gray Lustre and Stering Mist. I haven't made up my mind about the fronts though. Since I haven't seen them yet, it is hard to know if I would want them.

If you add the clear front markers....does anyone know if you need to have an orange reflector on the side of your car? If you do...how big would it have to be? Would it be ok to put the reflector between the front wheels and the front doors?
