oil cooler sandwich adapter fits okay?

I want to run an engine oil cooler using the sandwich type adapter fitting. Are there any fitment issues with this type of adapter?

An alternative would be to run the supercharger oil feed line to the cooler and then from there to the SC.

The sandwich adapter has two outlets, one to let the oil out and the other to return the oil from the cooler. How are you going to adapt another adapter from the sandwich adapter to feed the oil to the blower. The SCer kit comes with a oil T fitting already it is very simple . I have a Permacool oil cooler but no fitment issues.

You'll need 90 degree fittings off the sandwich adaptor... and probably off the lines as well or you won't clear the Crank pulley.

I was thinking of using the sandwich adapter in the conventional manner to run hoses to the heat exchanger. No second adapter is needed. The oil feed line to the blower remains unchanged.

The second scenario I was thinking of is to use the oil feed line from the T fitting and run it to the cooler instead of the blower, and from the cooler to the blower, that way the blower gets freshly cooled oil. Maybe not such a good idea when it is cold out, though, especially right after startup on a cold morning.

How do you run oil to the cooler in your setup?

Thanks!

Thanks, Chunger. Great info on the J&S Safeguard in the same thread as a bonus!
