Weird squeeky sound coming from S/C..

I don't mean the crickets..
I hear a loud screeching sound coming from the pulley area whenever I'm accelerating during a turn..
Is this normal??? Perhaps the belt wasn't on tight??
Anyone else have this problem with their V2?

During acceleration only? The belt is slipping. Check the belt to see if there is any glazing otherwise use some belt dressing or else replace the belt.

During a turn... leads to me to believe it may even be a loose P/S belt.

How would I tighten it? What tools would I need?

Thanks.

Check the tension first... If it is that belt, you should be hearing the noise when you turn the steering wheel to full left or right.

The adjustment bolt is just rearward of the oil filter... but you have to loosen the P/S pump mount bolt first...

for the SCer belt you need a 14MM closed end wrench and a socket size 14mm with a long extension to tighten the belt.

Thanks for the info..

But now I hear some sorda grinding noise from the same area.. It only happens 1 out of 5 times when I startup. I think it's one of the pulleys, just can figure out which one..
