So that means you gotta replace that whole piece now? Could it be because you didn't have it plugged?

Why would you think twice about it? Jeff did my SC install and it was fine..

Re: ****en Check Engine light is on!!

Just in case it helps someone else down the road; mine went on after starting up with the s/c and went away the moment I started up with the 1-step colder copper plugs.

Yeah.. I gotta replace that solenoid.. It was always plugged. Jeff just didn't hook up the hose leading to the VI... Hence the CEL!!..

hey bro... should not be a problem... i had this exact same problem last month... so i got it diag'ed at Nissan... it came up with two codes... one for cylinder misfire(which is very occasional)... and one for running lean... which from what i understand just happens when you are supercharged... it needs to be tuned more properly... but it's nothing that will kill your engine anytime soon... sometimes because of how much air is being blasted into the intake, not enough fuel is being added so the computer tells the engine to push more fuel and it may be too much at times...but hey if anyone knows more or something i don't know about this than by all means let a brotha know.... i am just going by what i was told...
