'95 SE tweeter + dual autometer gauge pod =

I painted my autometer dual and single gauge pods today beige to match my a-pillar. After I was done I held the dual pod up and noticed Autometer made it to sit at the bottom of the a-pillar. This means it covers my tweeter entirely. What should I do? The single gauge pod shouldn't be a problem since it's going above the dual one.

I read on older post that sound quality doesn't really degrade with the pod installed.

do a quick search...

Interesting...

I searched b4 I posted this thread. I searched for "tweeter" and "tweeters" in the SC/Turbo forum, and 1 thread came up that didn't really help.

I would not sweat it too much, I have the same pod and it was test fit on an SE pillar before I put it on mine and I wanted to check the fit over the speaker as well

It seemed doable so I went ahead and installed the pillar pod on my GXE one and will keep the SE ones for spares to return it to stock some day many moons from now.
