Boost gauge readings (Poll)

I am trying to play devil's advocate and guess what if anything will be hurt by installing the boost gauge inline off the manifold prior to the SC ...as well what would the readings be...I understand the concensus is the HG when not boosting and the lbs of boost when it is on.

When NA, you will never boost. you will always be invacuum, or at WOT, you will be at "0"

That's the way I understand it.

As far as problems, - it's just a gauge and hose - it can't cause any problems.

I don't even think that is possible...

As long as the vacuum/boost source is after the THROTTLE BODY, you should be fine.

Can I ask for a member with a Boost gauge to take a detailed picture of the area by the TB to show me what a connection might look like? I have a new gauge and want to relate it to the cars layout...thanks in advance.

look for the oem fuel pressure regulator... see the hose on the bottom going towards the floor? that is where most people tap in.

thanks but the location was not the issue, it is seeing to actual connection...mostly to look at the actual fitting used to connect to hoses...and I was going to use the port just behind and past the TB.
