Cool! When you mentioned automatic, I was thinking it was another tranny co. I'm stuck dealing with Level10 for mine.. the bastards are now trying to convince me to ship my tranny to them for the rebuild, and won't sell me the darned PTS rebuild kit... grrr... like I'm stupid enough to take my tranny out, ship it from Canada to their shop in NJ and back... maybe my next step will be to ask them if they're willing to accept my entire CAR shipped to them in a large crate.. just take it out yourselves and ship my CAR back to me when you're done... stupid fools.

Lmao that funny man, did they say why they wouldn't sell you the pts rebuild. anyway i would personally stay away from level 10, i have heard that there work and upgrade kit isn't all that great. I would personally try and find a tranny shop in your area that would build it for you.

Nope they wouldn't.. still haven't heard back from "Sam" at Level10 as to why... oh well guess I'll have to find another solution... ie. I am going back to Maxximum Tuning when the weather gets better

how much did you pay for the automatic kit?

How much did you pay for the kit itself. also the kit is available for the automatic people out there now right? I got a 97 GLE and iam looking to turbo soon, my only opinions are to buy a kit from maybe PFI if its already pre bent, otherwise have HHCCL or cant remember his name have him do it. How is the fitment issues for the automatic kit? just dont want to buy the kit and have a bunch of problems. lemme know, thanks

Well i got a deal on the kit for being the test subject, but depending if you want IC or non IC its gonna run you around 3600- 4300 i beleive you might want to contact nigel to double check on the prices. i do know that the auto kit is $300 more b/c of the complex piping. But to anwer your other question the pipes have all been copied, so yes you can order it from them right now if you wanted to. The fitmint issue is that its very tight but it all fits. the only thing to really watch is the tranny fluid hose running into the tranny cooler, the pipes are very close to it so they had to put up a heat sheild and heat wrap the hose, but so far it hasn't been a problem. you also need to have your front motor mount modified to fit the pipes. Pfi is trying to get a hold of some motor mounts for 4th gens but havn't been able to yet.

In the vid of the dyno run with the cam inside the car, did they turn the engine off right after the run or do you have a turbo timer?

Re: how much did you pay for the automatic kit?

Automatic kit price starts at $3600. There was absolutely no space under the car to run piping. The piping is way more complex for the automatic kit, there's a lot of extra junk in the way, but we were overall very happy with the results.

We are now looking for an automatic who would like to be turboed and intercooled. Installation will be free.

Let me know if you are interested.

Mingo, only some Maxipads had "that plug" going into the front mount. I was an auto and I did not have it, but again, mine is/was a GXE with the C&C package. The SEs and GLEs may be a different story.

What ever happened to the auto kit anyways?

I'm interested in getting a PFI kit - but I'm not able to heave PFI install it. I'm installing an I30 5 speed in November and could take the downtime to put the turbo kit in. How much extra modification is really necissary above the typical bolton turbo install?
