9psi, 3rd gear, but didnt feel like she was pulling???

hmmmm.....today I want to see my peak boost with the 2.87 and a loose BOV. so I entered the freeway and floored it at 4th. she downshifted back to 3rd and rpm is going up. I saw a 9 psi near 6000 and she went to the 4th. But I dont feel like she was pulling strong though...what's going on? EGT peaked at 730 and never hit the 800 limit. Am I running too rich? The stock cat-back is holding all her hot fart? or maybe I was addicted to 8psi at 5000rpm before I loosened the BOV???

help me out guys...I couldnt think of any reason.

Nah, don't worry about it. I've been pushing him to tighten the BOV screw so he'll hit 11.

No charge since it was once my kit. An did give me an air freshener though. Hehehe Thanks!

yup, it is in celcius. It raises really fast when I had the 3.33. What happened was I floored the pedal and hit 9psi but my car definitly was not pushing that much. But! if I depress the pedal slowly and then floor it....I feel more power coming. seems like if I push a lot of air into her at once....she cannot process all.

That is a really low reading for EGT... If it is ideed 800 at WOT then you are definitely running rich. Remember the higher the leaner, the lower the richer. Most ppl get like 1500 here....

follow up - I tighten the BOV a bit today....it seems better. Now I am confused, I tighten the BOV and I am still getting the same reading. But it makes a difference.
