Looking for SC piping "elbow"

The SC piping "elbow" (coming straight out of the SC to the main piping) on my car got torn up recently.

Apparently, it has been a little torn up for awhile, because once I fixed it I was able to boost at 9PSI for the first time repeatedly. Strange - never heard any leak before it blew. (Sounded pretty cool when it did blow - Pssssssssssssssssssssht!)

It tore on the underside and wasn't visible before today.

I have it ghetto rigged with some rubber and some clamps (and a little duct tape) right now, but would like to put it back to normal.

Anyone know where I can get this? I've heard Stillen won't sell me one because I didn't buy my SC from them directly.

Looked on a few sites and didn't see one - also tried Home Depot and such...no luck.

Also, what is the diameter of the SC outlet and SC Piping anyway?

2.25"?

Thanks!

Take your car to a muffler shop, like Meineke. Most Meineke shops do mandrel bending. They can probably reproduce that pipe at a minimal cost. Also, for a better alternative fix, try using PVC pipe from Lowes or Home Depot.....

Already tried Home Depot. Didn't have anything close to what I needed....

Maybe Lowes....

I'd rather keep it rubber - better seal.

I hate to say this but that elbow is really propietary by Stillen. It is a 3" to 2.5" 90* degree elbow. Unless you can find a silicone connector like that.

I can find you some 90* degree silicone connectors, but they are the same size on both ends.

You might have to get this from Stillen.

Yep - they won't sell it to me, I'm betting...Oh well, I'll give it a shot.

If not, I'll try and make my ghetto rigging look better, and leave it at that.

I bought mine used - they don't support SC's out of warranty that were sold used.

No offense, but bullshiet. I bought mine used as well. I MADE them sell me the parts I wanted. Dont let them bullshiet you. It ****es me off that they wont sell you this part.

It might cost you over $100 though. Regular 90* silicone ones cost $75

It's not silicone there - it's jsut regular rubber.....

Anyway, I'll try and call them tomorrow - they haven't actually said "no" yet, but from what I've heard, they're going to give me alot of ****.

Yep - probably - in which case I'll just leave it.

I simply took a strip of rubber cut to fit, and clamped it tightly with 2 clamps over the hole....

It seems to be working fine, but like I said - if it's feasable, I'll get a new one.

Yea but the problem is that the end that attaches to the s/c is 3" and the end going to the piping is 2.5"

Not the same size.

I think you can ask them to customize the size.

Correct, they won't support them through warrenty, but if you want to buy a part, they'll sell you a part. They may charge you an arm and a leg though.

Have you tried PMing MardiGras? He used something else when he got his custom piping done...maybe it would work for you?

I'm thinking they will, too. I called them up about a part that was missing with the used kit I bought and they seemed very willing to sell it to me. I was able to make do without it, though, so I never actually bought it.
