Hose size needed

I am looking to replace the short length of hose for the oil return off the back of the V2 blower to the timing cover plate...mine has developed a small rub from the belt and is leaking a bit.

so I am looking for omeone who can give the dimensions of the original hose...I can estimate but wanted to ask as much as I can cause I have to take teh blower off to replace it.

PITA it is going to be, yes but it is better than trying to tune the car knowing there are problems.

I am going to call Stillen and Avalon to see if someone may be able to help out...

thanks in advance.

Believe it or not it is a stock Nissan OEM part, not from a maxima mind you, but Nissan OEM nonetheless. Anyways, I have the wrapper at home, I bought it from Stillen, (well someone bought it at Stillen for me Ogredave) and they left it wrapped in the OEM bag with the OEM part number. So, if you need the damn hose, you can just go to your local nissan dealer and get one. I found that mine was a little longer than needed, but the bends were perfect, my guess is Stillen hacks about an inch off of them, and then bend you over for 4x the price of the already jacked up dealer price. What a wonderful racket these guys run.

Anyways Tracy, if you need the info, I can scour it up for you, I am not nearly as organized as I should be

thanks, I have tried my best so far to remove it and replace it with a straight piece of hose but realized after mounting that there is no way a non-prebent hose will ever work...so I tried my best to seal over and protect the hole ...very small mind you but I am halfway thru getting the junk put back on and I will have to replace it at some point...

I had big plans today as well and they are all shot cause I worked last night from 10:30 til 4 AM on the stupid thing and don't feel any more secure and definetly am not done...I have both pulleys to put back on...

that IDLER is a B1+Ch to get up in there and start threading. I do not recall it being this hard...anyway I HAVE to get back out there and finish up...thanks and I will be looking for the hose info if you can locate it...thanks

What a PITA...I got it running but had to wait thru some excruciating noise and even some smoke for the junk to get cleaned off the belt and pulleys...combination of oil, grease dirt and brake cleaner..what a racket...

I am gonna have to change belts soon as this one is probably too far gone to rely on...I am gonna look for another hose the right shape and replace it when I go thru the nightmare again.

LOL.. I told you were just paranoid... Screeching and Smoke usually gets people nervous....

Glad it worked out (kinda) but you'll need a new belt obviously.
