Question about Turbo-ing

I have seen the posts about twin turbo's...
I am wondering what the appeal is for a twin turbo Maxima.. I know its not possible but just wondering why people were so intruigued.

I was speaking to a friend who basically told me that a single turbo is better than a twin turbo.. That's why supra's swap out their twin turbos for a single turbo...

Putting aside the space limitations making this impossible in the Maxima, is it even possible given we only have one throttle body as compared to the supra or 300zx who have 2 throttle bodies?

I do not understand any of this stuff so if the answer is obvious, excuse my ignorance.. Just trying to learn some info on Turbos...

THanks.

There is no appeal, only people who dream... I guees it sounds cooler saying that you have a "twin turbo" ...

All the guys who turbo have single turbo's, and they do the job.

Another approach that is interesting is to have a twin turbo setup with a small turbo which spools up a larger turbo... so that you have very little, if any turbo lag.
