In case you missed it
I have the code 0201... Primary Ignition Circuit fail.
I did the steps in the FSM and checked/changed my coil packs and checked/changed my ignition condensor. NO HELP
I checked the wires from the ecu to the coil packs and I am getting the .04 V.
I checked the power wires and I am getting 12 V in all of the coil packs and condensor.
I checked ALL the grounds and they are good.
Any more suggestions before my car goes to nissan for an **** reaming??

Crank ANGLE? I have not heard of those. I wil look into it.. Main grounds... The 2 in front of the intake manifold? I will check those
I was gonna check my crank postion sensor.. just have no time..

Baggs. This is from the 3-gen section. Chilton's online. It has alot of VQ30 info also. Although it doesn't specifically say VQ30DE, this must be for the VQ as the VG doesn't use these and the VE only uses a CAM angle sensor.

UPDATE
Well nissan has my car and after 1 hr they have come to the conclusion it is either the ECU or WIRES.
I was afraid of that. I hope they can fix it for a small amount of $$$ if it's the ECU , I will be looking for a used one.
I hope it's a wire that can just be spliced, my luck they won't do that, in that case I will do it myself.
I also hope these jacklegs get it right, we will see.

I am just glad they are having as many problems finding the problem as I did. Makes me feel better about my troubleshooting skills

DO NOT SAY THAT.. I am worried about that as is.. I wanted to stay there UNTIL they were done, so I could keep an eye on them.
That girl with the 2k3 cobra story keeps poping into my head.
Yeah I went there the other day to check it out and I had every sales person in the place come look at my car.

OUTCOME
Well, after an $85 diagnostic, and 4 hours of troubleshooting, nissan came up with ZERO.
They claim ALL of my cars parts are working as per spec.
The things wrong, the ECU, which may not be calling itself out, or the EXTRA parts on the car.
The coil packs are good and firing like they are supposed to be. The wires are good. Plugs are good.
So I am trying to get the hookup from JAY
and try his spare ECU.
This set me BACK AGAIN.
My fault, I shopuld have troubleshot the CEL before doing anything and I now know, that I am at least as good as nissan in Troubleshooting my car.
So it will be a hard day when my car goes back to nissan for service.
Maybe I can work some OT next weekend and get everything back in order.
I still have emissons to do this month
So we will see how that goes.
Oh well, lessons #3,#4,#5 learned on this adventure.

girl drops of 2k3 cobra for service ( girl is memeber of mustang board ) , service guy takes it out and dogs it.. service runs mouth on internet board including her liscense plate #
Member of that board points girl from the other board to service guys board.
EVERY internet board bashes this guy and the girl gets MUCH free stuff from dealer and I think the service guy got fired.
You can look and find it.. it was REALLY ON EVERY car forum.. bmw,ours,ford,lexus..etc
