black smoke

96 5 speed v2

I was dynoed tuned at 12-12.5. But when I get on it past 4500rpm I still get the black cloud and the smell of fuel.
Plus my plugs are showing running rich?
I am at -25% on my s-afc2(through 4000rpm to redline) and some shops say this is not so good.
I am running the 8:1 should I try the 6:1?
anyone have any thoughts.

3.125 on a V2 is not gonna be 9 psi. it's more than that.

I just tuned my SAFC with the 8:1 and I have the 3.25 pulley @ 10PSI and it was running just fine. Do not go down to a 6:1. As a matter of fact with my numbers I was able to give allgo the numbers and I flattened out his a/f ratio almost perfect at 12.1 all the way across. If you don t believe me PM him he has the 3.125 pulley and 8:1 disc
