My fun tonight

Kev, I know this is a NO NO, but I am too happy

Well I hooked up with the lexus folks for there meet.

I ended up running a GS400 with I/E from a dead stop.

I got sort of a jump, from a toll booth, but it was close.

At 80 I was in front by about 4 FT but loosing ground, damn shift from 2-3, but by 90 ( 5000 RPM ) I was back in control.. it was VERY close to X30 MPH

Did a few runs from a roll and I was able to repet the above. BUT I was on front of him and I think he would have taking the lead due to my lack of power from 65-90 MPH

So at 11:1 A/F and 5 PSI I did VERY well.. time to get a few things solved

seloc has ALL the info South Eastern Lexus Owners Club... you have to register, but all the meets and stuff are always posted there

that dude with the white GS400 is a speed monster, three of us took us like we were running a PFT, CBR was right at my rear bumper the complete time.

Never the less good peaceful folks to be around.

The GS400 is good for 14.4-14.6@97-99mph on average assuming it isn't heatsoaked. I've watched GS400s do "hot laps" at the track and they got slower and slower. They went from 14.6s@96mph down to 15.1@93mph. That motor, like ours, hates any kind of heat.

yes and no.. you need to understand that I am at 5 PSI and with an A/F of about 11:1 I am dynoing at about 210 WHP and WTQ.

So yeah I am making more power, but not as much as I could.

And a GS 400 is a 5 SPD auto and they have GREAT HIGHWAY acceleration.

and he has an Intake and exhaust.

but yes I should win, I would hope so

and dave he and I had the same heat nsoak, we were running all day and night..lol... I was at a club lexus meet...

next time I am running the IS300 with the stage 2 srt turbo
