Sadler's Completed Turbo

Brought the car back from powdercoating and ceramic coating at Batlground. Original plan of chrome didn't work out because of Jason's time constraints and every shop needed 3 weeks turnaround but silver and black powdercoating still look pretty nice.

For anyone that didn't read the end of the other thread the car put down 256hp and 254lb-ft of torque @ 5psi on its 7th or 8th dyno run during tuning. It made a total of 15+ runs and the power never went below 249hp.

I'll make a more complete set of pictures soon.

I didn't post any because I was waiting for the distributor to share some images of other maxima's because I have a pending lawsuit on hand. I am sure people will post some after this weekend's meet in the southeast forum, but until I have some more information and some other people's comments on the bumper I am going to hold off on posting myself.

Thanks for all the compliments, it will be going out for chrome as soon as I can find some time to have the car down. It does look similar to Nigel's setup, but there are few differences here and there, you go with what works.

holy sh*t. That m3 bumper is perfect for anyone using an intercooler. It fit right in there, dam, u definitely should put some type of mesh because anybody can easily see that intercooler from any good distance, big as h3ll!

maybe its the pics but the chrome doesnt seem to be shining as well as it used to...jason u slipping on cleaning?

mesh??? wtf??

and my car has been in shambles for 3 weeks now, this is the worst it has ever been i think. it just got washed and partially waxed this morning and the engine bay got fully polished up after those pictures were taken.. someone was too eager with el camera to wait.

He's at HIGH altitude...Nigel at 4psi means his turbo is spinning MUCH faster to produce the same boost level, so it's in a more efficent area of the map.

You can't compare PEAK numbers, you need to compare AREA under the curve for apples-to-apples IMO.

thank you sir.

nigel's numbers are quite scewed at his elevation, if i could find the sae correction method and all of his altitude stuff i could give you the breakdown, i think a rough estimate is about 228whp on his at 4psi, i think.

For those of you in Atlanta, you can see the whole setup in person tomorrow at the Stone Mountain meet.

That's right Maxima fans, the heralded thebigsadler will be at Stone Mountain signing autographs and giving rides out. Come early to be first in line...
