PFI and Nigel are in Fort Collins. Go to www.pfispeed.com . They are the "main" producer of turbo kits for our car.......

Yes, PFI is about 10 minutes from me in Fort Collins. Dafro (Ryan) also has a turbo in his auto max, while Nigels is a 5 spd that just plain hauls some serious ****!!!!!!!

Dafro - http://forums.maxima.org/member.php?u=9423

Nigel - http://forums.maxima.org/member.php?u=10724

They are both in Ft. Collins. Nigel is in and out of the country so it may be hard to get in touch with him.

Nigel and DafHO have dynoed, I don't remember the numbers right off.

Nigel - 5-speed
DafHO - Aut-HO

You can do the install yourself. It's just a weekend thing.

I could install it myself...but the tunning and dyno would have to
be done at the shop

Jep, just make sure you have a chop saw, grinder, hole saw, good eye for measuring things from funky pictures that don't give you specs or a template for where to drill your unibody frame, tap/dye to convert from supplied NPT to required BSP fitting on the oil supply, and so forth.

Yes, it can be done, I even managed to do it. Bill at PFI is a good guy and assured me some things have been changed so hopefully it's a lot better and more of a "bolt-on, weekend thing" for you.

If you are going to do it, it's possible to do with just hand tools but you'd be well served by having the following;
a compressor with an impact wrench and ratchet, metric deep sockets, power screwdriver, Dremel and metric box/open-end wrenches, torque wrench, PB Blaster, 1/2" NPT tap, 13/16" drill bit, (last 2 are only if you're tapping the valve cover for oil return) assortment of pliers, and a Sawzall (or other reciprocating saw to cut bumper for IC). There might be other stuff but that's what comes to mind at this point.

For elecronics/gauges, you'll need; various sizes of vaccuum line, gauges, multimeter, crimps, extension wires to splice MAF wiring, soldering iron w/ solder, electrical tape, wire taps, etc.

Tuning issues would have to be addressed locally.
