Injectors
Maybe we should sticky this as a faq for boosted cars
Where did you guys get your 370 or 555 injectors from? How much did you pay for them? What kind did you buy? did they come from a 300z or are they from an aftermarket manufacturer?

For 340cc and mabye 370cc injectors, you *SHOULD* be able to get away with turning down the base fuel pressure like Mardi did, however NOBODY has tried this yet.
The only option 2K+ Maximas have for larger injectors, ie 400+cc, will be a standalone ECU, so we might want to start looking into an auxilary fuel injector(s) controller ala Stillen 350z.

Standalone?!? I have the Greddy profec e-01 & e-manage. Working on installing it now. I should be able to adjust the fuel pretty well w/that. It does both A/F and injectors. Sill tryin to figure it out!

I've *HEARD* the eManage can control 3xx cc injectors, but not any larger.
We need to find a 2K-2K1 injector to send in with a 350z injector to make sure they are the same.

You can get RC Engineering injectors 3xx or 4xx, maybe higher, for around $80/each from SuperChargersOnline.com.

How do you plan to control them? You have a '99 right? For the 95's and 96's they can get the JWT ECU with the Z maf and so on.
I heard e-manage would do it, but then some people are now saying that the emanage won't handle 550's on a Maxima.

good luck with Emanage Corey...problems, problems, problems...and you only get to witness the problems once you find a shop ballsy enough to work with the damned thing. and another thing does it even have a remotely close base map to start off on?? you're gonna be paying big loot especially to even get started tune in 550s.

Well my goal hopefully is 400 to 450 to the wheels So I was looking to get 550's. Emanage everday is now looking like its not possible so I am researching other avenues. but I want to start getting all of the things that I need , ie injectors and maf. I may actually try running the car on a jwt and just having the cel on but we will see . I know 007 was changing his car over to fed spec. what does it take?
