Does anyone know which BOV makes the imfamous whistle? I wanna hear a surge then a sudden loud ear-piercing whistle.. I know the HKS SSQV flutters sometimes and it also whistles. But i heard an Si w/ a Vortec S/C and i believe he had a GReddy BOV that whistled and that sounded amazing. Also, does anyone know a website that might have sound clips of all available BOVs?

Greddy Type S makes a sound strikingly similar to a dying beached whale if that's what you're referring to. My brother spec'd one on his g/f's Integra and it whistles and occasionally flutters on light boost.

No clue about a site that has all of the sounds. The HKS is very popular among the Maxima guys and it is very loud as well. I think there are some clips of Sadler or one of the PFI turbos around.

 

Go to www.boost-solutions.com ...then go to the 300zx link ( far rigght column )...the click on BOV...there are like 4 sound clips..hope this helps
