I cheated. I put myself down as 30k and up even though I'm at about 27k right now. But my engine is running so well that I fully expect many, many more miles to come. I do a compression check every 3 months, and it hasn't changed more than a psi or two from the check I did just prior to installing the supercharger.

Edit: By the way, my engine had 120k miles on it when I installed the SC.

The way I see it is that the engine can handle the boost extremely well, but the tranny cant.

that car is running fine, except I have a EGR code, I have to fix that. The car also looks so ugly is not even funny. I just got off the phone with the insurance company and they are going to pay for the rest of the car to get fixed 97-99 conversion ! paint job and just replace all the panels etc..Got hit by some objects on the freeway a while back.

7-8PSI is not cutting it no more so I have a SAFC II and the chrome 3.125 pulley I may install this weekend. Other then that the car feels pretty quick. You got a Nitrous kit, makes me want to spray too

10k miles.

Had the engine "blow up", but it was un-related to the SCer. In both engines I had the SC on, I've never seen the compression change.

nothing like a good paint job to spruce up the max. yeh you'll feel the difference once you change that pulley. also nitrous is the only step to completing our quest, trust me.. i pull so hard on people it is sick.. and you don't have to use it all the time, just when you feel the lag cause once the s/c is kicked in it does it's job..i'd like to see the max when your done cause aint nothing like a clean fast max...p.s i can spray from 30hp-100hp so it gives you the ability to dial in the hp needed instead of constantly changing pulley sizes..
