Need Opinions on Poly-filled Motor Mounts

I need some insight on whether to go with poly-filled Place Racing mounts from Cattman or to acquire all the mounts from my 5-speed parts car and fill them with urethane myself. I've read positive things about both but want to go with the best set up.
They'll be paired with an ACT Stage 2 and Fidanza flywheel in a few weeks, as well as an Evolution-Autodesign turbo in the spring...
Any opinions on whether to go homemade or buy PR, and also which urethane to use would be appreciated...

Thanks

Alright, well I ordered the 80 Durometer Shore A polyurethane resin to fill the mounts with. Hopefully everything goes well

No, you can remove the mounts one at a time and fill them, just make sure they are fully hardened. It would be best for you to get some spare mounts and fill those, then replace them all at the same time.
Since I'm doing a 5-speed conversion, I picked up 4 spare mounts that I will fill and have installed.
It would be impossible to do with them on the car

Ensure that stuff cures a couple of days prior to installing them back on the car. I thought you were going to come down for sure, is no big deal.

I got the 2 part 80 durometer urethane stuff from www.mcmaster.com. This stuff hardens in a few hours but they'll be sitting for almost a week before they actually go on the car.

It _starts_ to harden in a few hours. I'd be sure to let it sit for at least 3 days before using.

You're doing exactly what I did. I notice a nasty vibration around 900rpm, but other than that they're great. Drivetrain feels more solid, wheelhop is down and the vibrations aren't really that bad!

Vibration is normal, it is worse if you have a coke can and coins in the cup holder. Theyll drive you crazy.

Yes, but I don't get that kind of vibration. Its just something you can bearly feel. People who aren't in my car all the time (like I am) never seem to notice it.

That's the major upside to making your own over buying PR's.

Anybody know where you can get used mounts cheap ONLINE?

I can't find the damn selection on www.car-parts.com.

Any junkyard scroungers come across a set, let me know.
