Just look on eBay. Type in Spearco and there you go. As far as size, you can really fit anything under the front bumper, just depends on which route you take with the piping.

Don't have to touch the bumper plastic if you stick to a 3" thick core. I would say the best height is around 6" since that's about as much as you can fit in the stock bumper opening and it won't having to cut into the metal bumper support.

Here's a pic of Shadow's setup:

Shadow's 8" core puts it over 2" up in the support and almost 1" down below the opening on the bumper. In terms of width, go as wide as you want pretty much up to around 26-28" with end tanks. Worst case you have to move the PS cooler behind the front support and maybe bend it just slightly to get the intercooler as close as possible.

Sadler's setup is a bit larger w/ maybe a 10" tall core but I forgot the exact dimensions. It definitely requires cutting of the bumper support but we didn't have to since it wouldn't fit behind the M style bumper.

I also think his is around 28" wide with the end tanks.

Your piping layout will have to vary just slightly with the exact intercooler you decide to use.

I believe the Chief here has a sc and not a turbo.

Have there been any detailed write ups on a intercooler (err aftercooler) in a 4th gen?

There are a few ic threads for scs: (i've searched for 'intercooler' and 'intercooled' and found some good ones)
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=237043
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=284404 (recent and good)

Here is Ferhan's (furbiss112) 4th gen (I think slimer bought the old setup from him?):

I think other ic sc ppl are Slimer ( awic with battery relocation), Chunger, delio

From my reading, it does not appear it is a good idea to ic a sc.
The sc does not get as hot as a turbo, which needs an ic for the most part.

There are many opinion on this though.

My understanding is that it would be better to just get water/alcohol injection.

So a v2 2.87 is on the borderline of no IC needed?
