4th Gen. Turbo kits

What do 4th Gen Maxima owners have for turbo kit options. The only kit I found is Custom Maxima's turbo kit for over $5000. I just want to know what other kits are out there. Also what is a safe amount of boost to run on a stock internal engine, but an upgraded fuel system, and intercooler?

It depends on turbo size and how much air they flow per PSI...

If you are actually considering this person or even remotely thinking about this person's kit, then you got aLOT of homework to do......

Those are just a few shots for you to take a look at his work. The first couple are pics of my car. The other with the blue pipe is h2kfrosty's car. If you want quality like that, then go for it.

Enjoy.......

Yes, his own car is fast. But the "kits" that others have gotten from him are really, really bad. Two of them live near me, Dixit is one of them and they've spent a lot of money fixing what Hal's guys did and Hal wasn't really willing to work with them.

If you want fast and a totally shoddy looking kit not to mention replacing engines like its a drag car, then be my guest.

Pretty soon. My own car will be finished in the next 1-1.5 weeks then we meaure/jig/measure some more. My greatest fear is of selling something that doesn't fit. So I want to be really, really sure it works. Not looking to have someone call me screaming a kit doesn't fit. When we're talking thousands of dollars, it had better work. But a conservative estimate would be end of this year, early next year. Probably before then, but I want to make sure we don't get any unexpected delays.

Any ideas on the pricing of the kit when it come available to the public?

Nope. $3K would buy you a used supercharger, but you'd have no money left over for peripherals and other accessories you'd need. Plus you'd have to pay for an install unless you've got friends who've done it before. And you always want some money left over for emergencies and little problems that always pop up when you go forced induction.

For a turbo, $3K won't buy you anything resembling a working setup.
