Bags' progress - it's gettin there!
I'd say today was the best day so far. We were gettin a lot of stuff done, transfering parts from motor to motor, eating Wendy's, seeing a turbo 1300CC Hayabusa, and having like 5 .org members show up to help.
LIST of members that helped out:
-bijan
-jaime (jay25)
-erik (ramius)
-dixit (bigdogjonx)
-justin (quicksilver)
Tapping oil pans, to finding shreads and pieces of Kirk's #2 cylinder. When we got the oil pan off and flipped the bad engine over, we rotated the crank and metal pieces were falling from the engine. Clanking noises were heard too.
Dixit has the GOOD pics, my stupid camera phone won't upload my pics. So Dixit, when you get a chance, post the pics.

Pictures
Pics of Engine Swap (They are hosted on port 81, if you cant get to it, your firewall is probably blocking)
Here are the pictures that were taken. You can see in some of the pics where the root cause of the problem was. #2 piston head basically just shattered. There are pieces all over the place, in some of the pictures I pointed out the large chunks of the piston head.
We wanted to remove the crank and remove the piston completely, but to do that we need a special socket to remove the bolts that hold the crank down not to mention we need to remove the entire timing cover and that is far more work to do and keep track of where all the crap goes.

250 hours? At least you're not having to pay them $60+/hr like a dealer would ask!

I did change the water pump.. I was going to do the oil pump.. but the fact I needed to remove the timing chain cover made me say NO.
The water pump was MUCH easier than I thought.
and man if they charged me.... I'd be spending LOTS of time at the blood/sperm bank...lol

well, I only posted it it here in the boosted forums and in the SE forums.
Long story short , one night while out F'ing off, I ran through 1-4 gear taking each one past redline, while in 5th gear at about 5500 rpms I heard a noise and stuck it in Neutral. Well the sound was metal on metal contact.
Zero compression in the #2 cylinder.
Blown motor
Well, bought new motor and I am in the process of installing it..lol
