BOV Leaking Air...

My Blitz BOV leaks air when I am in Park. Is this normal? I don't remember this when I first got it installed. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ed

It's supposed to. The hose leading to the bov opens it when there is high manifold vacuum at idle, and keeps it shut when there is boost pressure in the manifold.

You can keep the bov shut at idle by tightening the preload spring.

I have the same problem. No matter how tight the screw is, the BOV still leaks air at idle like a mad man. What shoudl i do?

Contact the manufacturer to see if they make a stiffer spring.

Air leaking at idle really isn't a problem, though. In fact, it can keep the blower a little cooler with some circulation through it.
