I have no opinion on the 4th Gen kits. I would prefer to build/design/test my own that to purchase a pre-fabbed kit.

The only thing I like about SSR-engineering kit is the fuel management and larger injectors, thats about it. We are not even sure they are making a turbo manifold or a reverse y-pipe fromt he teaser picture.

Yes, it will go to the track when I am done with it. My goal is to have 350 WHP for every day driving, and then turn it up for track runs (with either a NX 35 or 50 shot...wet of course). This project is still a year off. I'm using this time to gather and prepare all my components. I'll also be using an NRH automatic transmission...

Costs were:

Pistons = $1250

Rods = $1200

Tranny will cost about $3000.

I'm still not sure what turbo I want, or exactly how all the piping will be run. I'm going to try and keep everything simple, short, and direct (piping wise). Of course, big intercooler and bigger injectors (and fuel rail-return style) along with the beefing up of the entire fuel system will also take place. I also intend on using cats in the exhaust system to keep it as smog friendly as possible.
