New Turbo Kit! We need YOUR help!

Hey everybody, I have gone back and forth all day on wether or not I should be doing this. However, I have made the sole decision to produce a turbo kit for the 4th Generation maxima (mainly from mass e-mails). It seems as if you are not satisfied with the quality of other turbo kits out there now. We can come up with a solution that is both Higher quality and Competitive Pricing (isn't that what you all like to hear?). We've consumed ideas from other board members, (thanks) to utilize some stock parts, mainly just the manifolds. Now, in order to make the kits competitive what we'll do is introduce stages, and packages to the turbo kit.
Base - No Fuel, meaning thats all a DIY
Stage 2 - New Injectors, custom fuel rails, fuel pump, Fuel management (highly recommended to succed 400WHP) more details will follow shortly.

Now for me to get to the point, we will need a maxima that can make it to the so cal area for a discounted turbo kit. We need a serious candidate which wants a quality solution to enhance the performance aspect of his maxima. We will offer the kit at cost with free installation. Now if any of you are serious, PM me, E-Mail me, call me, AIM me, whatever just get ahold of me . This offer will stand as a custom turbo set-up (But discounted with free installation)

I'm sure you guys can round up a So Cal guy. Try posting in the regional forums. Build a quality kit and you'll sell a ton. That's for certain.

Fitament wise... But after a few spirited runs at 300+fwhp the auto tranny will be nothing more than scraps of metal littered along the highway. (Unless built of course)

Expect this kit to be competitive with the others out there now, with better components. Also with new injectors, new fuel pump, and a tuning solution. Oh yeah, everythings polished as well, if you guys still are unfamiliar with our work go here

This could be good since Y2Kevse put the 4th gen turbo kit on his 2k that means maybe this one could too.

So does this mean you are going to scrap the 3.5 idea? I have been ready to purchase this kit once completed for several months now!

Since the the 4th and 5th gen share almost the same engine this could work on the 3.0 5th gen too right.

well its either a custom kit or a 300zx turbo car as a donor being that i have the same motor {minus the motor and higher c/r and better intake manifold} everything is a bolt on except for the pan.

but im always on the look out for new idea's that can produce good power for daily driving, some ***** for the strip and be auto tranny friendly

I was wondering if you are still making Turbos. I am currently Maxima of the month and u can see that my car is a fully custom show car. I am thinking about adding a turbo to my car. Is there any way possible to create a budget turbo for the 2000? Since i rarely drive the car, the turbo is mainly for show. Maybe we can design something and if u do any shows at sema, we can show it there next year. I guess my main concern is budget wise. I dont have too big a budget to spend on this, and i'm looking for a very very basic kit.

Thanks,
joe

SSR I have not seen or heard anything from you about your maxima turbo kit.

Did you ever produce it?

Is it for sale?

What year maxima is you kit(s) for?

Thanks

You could probably run a junkyard turbo off of one cylinder bank for about $2000, it wouldn't be anything any reputable shop would want to put their name on.

MaxRev in Phnx, AZ did for Turtle he had nightmares ever since IIRC.

Budget turbo and SSR is an oxymoron, but that's not a bad thing since they only use/sell quality parts.

If you want a budget kit, get a PFI kit for around $4K.

what i meant by budget turbo is i dont need all the super upgrades to push out 400+ HP. I want a good working one... SSR uses all good parts and crazy designs which is what I am looking for, but i spoke to them last time and remember that I can save some money on some parts if i dont plan to go all out crazy...

How much are you looking to spend?

Sounds to me like you want an Audi, but are only willing to pay for a VW.

either that or i'm looking to get sponsored... so i'm still shopping... i may just scrap the idea of wasting money on FI and keep the money...

The thing is its hard to justify the cost of FI when i drive the car 30 minutes a week, literally...

SSR couldn't sponsor you. They are two guys our age that are middle-men that contract through SFR.

Anyways, it's pretty simple:
$2K-$3K Used V2 SC
$3K-$4K New V2 SC or PFI turbo
$4K-$6K SSR/SFR turbo
