Bov???

I have a Greddy Type S BOV. I was wondering at what setting you guys have the Spring Tension set to?? Do you have it on low, mid, or high tension??

the standard tension is usually recommended for street use, mainly all it does is adjust pitch anyways. Low will give you a deep long pitch, High will give you a high short pitch.

Yeah. I ve noticed it when adjusting the tension spring. I thought buy adding more tension to the BOV, makes the back-pressure harder to purge when the butterfly is in the closed position. If the tension is set to low, it will allow for the back-pressure to purge faster...

Well not necessairly, it just seems like that, you see, BOVs are Vacuum controlled, meaning the entire time your in vacuum it will still let off no matter what. So, basically a good way to look at it is by boost levels, High Boost - High Tension, Low Boost - Low Tension and so forth.

guys whas size flange should i buy?? im upgrading to a HKS bov from a blitz?
it says 50mm or a 60mm which do i get ? i need an answer asap please.

Okay thats a good way at looking at it.. Im only running 4psi of Boost right now so I guess the low setting is fine. Thanks for the info.
