Help turbo

Not knowing the specs, age, or even the model number it's not a good idea to buy it. It looks a bit small for a Maxima and the only factory turbo Ford's were 4 cylinders which means it would be woefully undersized for 3.0L. Also, if it's a factory piece it's a minimum 10 years old.

Save yourself some heartache later on and buy a minimum T3/T4E new from cheapturbos.com. Decent sized T3/T4 w/ big enough A/R to handle a VQ runs about $550 brand new. If you're an devout ebay user at least look for a T3/T4 w/ A/R in the .7 range.

Or get a supercharger and not worry about any of it. Even better, get nitrous and run 13's for well under the cost of trying to get that turbo to work w/ your car.
