228hp/251lbstq at 5.5 psi 8.7:1 CR

I feel these are pretty good numbers. , I tried to raise my boost to get higher numbers but it seems like my wastegate was letting out all of the extra boost. the boost guage would not go over the 5.5 so I have to fix that. I was told i need to get either a heavier spring or tighten the screw on the wastegate.

Also this engine is only about 300 miles old.

Which wastegate do you have? Not running a Boost Controller? Which pistons do you have? Feel like this is 20 questions?

Good numbers for 8.7:1 + 5psi...

Hey addae, on the emanage did you see if the pressure ever went above 4.8?

Thank You for Everything man!!!! Addae wired up my emanaged and helped with the boost controller and a bunch of other things that we wired up!!! HE is ithe man!!! Him and FASHIZLE

I have the vq30det pistons and i have th avc-r electronic boost controller.

no prob man, I love to do stuff like that and then see successful end results, its a beautiful thing plus free food but yeah the Emanage as you can see in the pic I posted is reading .43kg/cm2 which is just around or a little over 5psi if I'm correct(I might have converted wrong again)

Hmmm. In the portion of the graph where rpm is rising (in the 12-15 sec range), why does your total airflow adj (sic) stay relatively flat? Even after developing full boost pressure, I would have expected the airflow to keep increasing with rpm.

I have to go back an check, but I think that 15% "airflow adjustment" is just reflecting the 15% chagne we made on the airflow adjustment map(which you can see behind the data window)

so on the adjustment table at 100% throttle we set a 15% change @ ~4000 RPM

man I spent all of Sunday night wiring it in(while Corey and Delvin where inside in the warm, warm, warm house watching Alias ) and the car doesn't start up...so I redid it back to stock and it started fine. I double checked the wiring a few times over and everything seemed matched...I ran each coil signal to the corressponding channel wire on the Emanage (ie-ch1=coil1, etc.) and back out the output wires to the ECU. but anyways I talked to Mo yeasterday @ SRT and he was having the same probs with the IS300s, but apparently you have to change one of the jumpers inside the emanage for Toyotas w/coils and I'm thinking the same thing might work here too! which I'll try when Corey comes back from vacation

any ideas? I know you have J&S experience!

Hey addae , me and Mardi gras spoke today about the coil problem and he had the idea that our coil packs are for the most part identical to the 350z so maybe i should call greddy to see what they did on that application. Greddy said its not on the 350, they didnt use the harness. They said the emanage sends too strong a signal to the packs and will!!!!! fry the Coil packs!!!!!! they said they are making a new harness which will be out in the next month, that will fix this issue. So I dont want to play with the timing untill then. So after next week i want to go to 10lbs of boost. with 14 i will need to begin to retard. unless i buy another J&S Hey dixit, you want to sell me my J&S back? Mardi will the J&S be able to pull 6degrees of timing out of the engine at WOT?

Exactly...I read in a mag they even flew out a Greddy guru for the eManage to install/debug their install on the TT 350z car and he could NOT figure it out.

That was awhile ago, so they've probably come up with something by now.

Their new harness will contain diodes and resistors. Thats one of the steps I had to do to get the J&S prototype to work.
