Question on ztt injectors

how come we can only use 95-96 turbo 300zx injectors? How come we can'r use like a 90 application? Aren't they almost the same in respects to that generation? i came across some injectors off a 91 tt zx...just wondering why they don't apply?

i believe nissan changed/upgraded the injectors after 95.

its referred to as "new" or "old" style injectors

After attempt with the earlier Z-TT injectors, I knew it was o-ring issues. The courtesy link confirms there is differences, in that the new injectors have 2 o-rings vs 3 o-rings on the older style.

Did you actcually try them?

I had a set of the older ones, and _though_ they could work if you spliced in new connectors...but I never tried it.

The injectors are made completely different. The older ones will NOT work on a max. The lower intake manifold is machined differently on 95-96 z than it is on the older cars.
