Why not take it back to the shop?

What does the smoke smell like?

Is there any substance in your muffler tip?

Is your radiator fluid in your over flow tank going down?

Is your oil low?

It could be water, oil, gas, etc...

White smoke is oil, right?

I'd say your turbo seals are bad and when under boost, they allow oil into the turbine section, which makes white smoke out the exhaust.

Was the turbo new/used? Did you use a turbo timer?

Just a *GUESS* though.

Yeah sounds like your seals on the turbine... You may want to try adding a thinker grade oil, like 5w-50 or maybe a bit of lucus oil stabilizer.... By the way, what are the specs for your turbo???

also check the clocking of your turbo. The oil return line should be no more than at a 30 degree angle, if it is thent the oil will leak through the seals. it takes 20 minutes to reclock the turbo and get the smoke gone

Did the shop prime the turbo with oil before start up?

We just put a hose on the inlet and then kept filling it with oil and spinning it.

Then we got aggressive and put some compressed air on it to force it in.

Just don't use very much pressure, because you could damage the seals, however oil pressure is what 40-50psi? So, as long as you don't get carried away I think it's fine.

I filled the pressure hose with as much oil as I could guestimate it would hold. Then squeezed some into the turbo its self. I cranked and cranked the car but it would never prime its self up.

Ahh, ok. Dixit mentioned to me cranking the car would not do it. I did not prime mine either. But I drove like an old lady and still am. SO I **hope** I am ok

[QUOTE=IceY2K1]White smoke is oil, right?

White smoke is water. An example would be headgaskets, where white smoke pours out of exhaust.

Blue smoke is oil, but can be mis-read as white if not in the right light or "at a funny angle."
