V1 vs V2 differebces

What are some of the main differences between the v1 and v2 kits.

Are the installs different?

I'm planning to install a V1 on a 2K1 auto, any tips.

The SC bracket is different, but that only really matters when routing the belts.

Otherwise - the installs are exactly the same - the blower is even physically the same externally.

You are going to need different charge piping and intake piping to accomdate the MAF.

Make sure that if you get the V1 kit (steel SC mounting bracket) that you also get the modified thermostat housing with it. Be sure to inspect the housing as well to make sure there are no cracks in it.

I unfortunatly had my thermostat housing break on me (long story) and of course STEALEN doesn't and won't make that part anymore. So I have been in the process of making my own no thanks to that company and their willingness to stand behind their product.......

p.s. If you do happen to get the V1 kit and the housing is broken, I can make you a new one (in the process of perfecting welding cast aluminum, very hard task but I have done it before)

like I said it before, a good seller will take "PICTURES" of their kit prior to selling it so you can see what are you paying for. I have seen many ****** here on the org that get away with murder. Request pictures of what you are buying specially from a stranger.
