HAHA, exactly! You don't need an LED. You see the LED that's in the middle of my switch panel? That's the LED they are talking about. I told them to wire it up so that you know the plate is in transistion from closed to open (visa versa). I didn't want the LED to be on when the plate was closed or fully open b/c I don't want that LED to be blairing me in the face while driving with it closed 99.9% of the time.

But there have been times that I was sorta glad I had the LED. I was opening the cutout when the car was not running. Plus, you can hear the motor turbing underneath your car and when it bogs down, then it's done turning.

I don't think I ever posted my videos that I took with the cutout open at idle and my WOT run. I just took these yesterday for another thread in the 3rd gen forum....
