tire selection?

I know this is not the drag racing forum but I thought someone might be able to answer a question regarding my rim size and tires. I currently have 19' GT Sports with falken something rathers on them. I have a supercharger w/ smaller pulley, lightened flywheel, exhaust, downpipe, upgraded clutch, grounding kit, and an ingnition amplifier. My problem is that I pretty much can't floor it anywhere in first gear or I spin the tires. It really puts a damper on my times. Any suggestions on tires or rim size/weight that would better suit my car. Thanks!

Well first off since you have a FWD car it's not really designed to launch well for drag racing

but i am assuming you want tires you can keep on there all the time. If your wheels are 19x8.5 maybe some 245-35-19 good tires on there.

I like BF GOodrich tires
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 are really good
Bridgestone Potenza S-03's

You should really ask this in the 1/4 mi forum, but short of slicks, no matter what tires you have they will probably spin. I have S-03's and could spin them NA in first. A LSD is probably the best thing you could do for traction.

Nitto 550-R's suppose to work well for 1/4 mile.
