Where is the best place to mount a turbo??

I have a 94 VG maxima, and i was wondering where would be the best possiable place to mount my turbo. I heard something about the crossover pipe, but i have no clue what that is!! should i get custom turbo headers, or should i use the 84 300z turbo ones. i've seen most maxima use only 3 or the 6 exhaust ports; which is better 6 (if possiable) or 3.
thanks,
mike

i have info on how i did mine here: http://members.cardomain.com/mtcookson

it requires a bit of modification to the front manifold to make it work but i like the end product very well. another way to do it would be to make a custom motor mount so that the turbo would fit when bolted on to the stock 300zx manifold.

If your running rich why don't you use a Turbo 300zx ECU?
You just have to wire the Knock sensor to it.

the Z ecu is different to that of the Maxima's (3rd gen). I tried custom wiring it in but that was a major major headache. I recently bought a wibeband o2 sensor setup though so now I can tune my car real well and get the correct a/f ratio all day long.

Hey mtcookson
I really want to get that MSD ignition you have. Just for the savings in gas. How hard is it to install?
Any dislikes?
