turbo or supercharge?

i was wondering...im thinkin puttin the 00 maxima engine im my 4th gen and was thinkin of turbo or supercharge? which would do the engine better? and how powerful should i get it to keep it on the safe end?

Personally, I say that unless you are having serious engine trouble, don't do the swap. You really won't gain anything. Do some exhaust work and supercharge your engine. The sc will probably give you less trouble with maintainance in the long run. It will also give you better low end pick up since turbos don't usually spool up until after about 3k and the sc is belt driven. Also, what kind of tc are you considering? I don't think there is a good quality tc out ther for the max. I am probably wrong on that though. Exhaust, S/C, and if it is not enough for you, spray that BEEAAACCCHHHH!

There are some quality turbo kits for the Max.
h2kfrosty is running one and is running 13.2 1/4 mile times with it.

I would recommend the supercharger for dependability though. Esp if you are using the car for a daily driver. I mean, there are plenty of people using it for a daily driver.
