Tranny for boost...Please Help!

Hey im going turbo for sure this summer. I'm in the process of a rebuild because of high mileage. I already have the engine swap covered but not the tranny. I have a 5 spd right now, but i've heard for boost it is highly recommended i got lsd. So, do you think it would be best if I found an i30 5spd tranny or just go along with a complete rebuild with my current tranny? I have like $2,000 to do this btw...

Thanx in advance

They cryogenically freeze the gears in your trany. Then they gradually warm them up. They repeat the process a few times. It's supposed to increase the strenght of the trany by 100%.
You could also get the trany shot-peened.

Yeah
Its when something is bombarded with tiny ball bearings at high speeds. This is another way to strengthen your trany gears.
The best way to save a trany is Maintenance,a cooler, and common scence. Don't constantly race your car wherever you go(unless it's a race car then,go right ahead).
Just don't get too far ahead of yourself. When you get the turbo in then the next step is to get the trany right. If you don't drive overly aggressive you can keep the stock trany and just add a cooler. Level ten makes some stuff for our trany's too.

Peace

Sorry when most people ask for trany help I just assume they have an AUTO.

You know what they say about those who assume...
