**My EGT is acting CRAZY?? HELP**

My egt gauge keeps fluttering, at first I thought it was a loose connection but its not, then i thought it was the power wire from my stereo interfering but i moved it away from the egt wires. Could the probe be messed up or should I check for loose wires again? Its an autometer ultra lite pyrometer and i've only had it on for 3~ months.

jdmmax was having the same problem with his autometer EGT gague. You might want to pm him to see how he fixed the issue.

If you get some of the connections wet, it can happen...

Thanks guys, I figured it out there was a slight exposure on one of the wires underneath my car, im sure it got wet and it would hit the ypipe and freak out. All fixed now WooHoo, now if only i could tune this thing!
