Settin on Cartech ??
V1, 3.125 pulley...How do I know what set they Cartech to ?? the owner before me said its at the right setting, but with shipping and the owner inbetween us, I dont know if that got knocked off or not.
Im gonna be running Cartech, AEM FPR for about 4 months, then Im pretty much gonna pull the Cartech and gonna run with AEM FPR, 370's and JWT-ECU...I will have my EGT gauge, FPR, and boost hooked up soon as I get all the parts
Till then Im gonna be untuned but I also dont wanna blow my engine can anyone point me in a direction to find the right setting on my Cartech

I left markings on the little **** on my bleeder valve. I think you can do the same for cartech.
I wouldnt push the car hard if I dont have anything to monitor it. I would wait until you get some gauges, (at least the EGT gauge) before you floor the pedal.

I will have the EGT gauge soon after the install...where should the EGT readings be if I tap the Exhaust right at the bottom of the Y (where the two manifolds come down and meet) ??
If the readings are too high, too much gas, too low not enough gas ?? Some help would be good, this is all new to me

I tapped it a bit after where the two manfolds meet.
if you are running lean, the EGT will raise fast. if you are running rich, you might see your EGT drops a little after you floor the gas pedal.

there's a turning **** on the cartech....by turning it, you will loose some boost to the FMU. That means by turning the ****, you will lean out the engine. But which direction do you turn? I dunno, you might want to verify with your seller or call cartech.
IIRC:
On the Cartech there are 2 *****. One main **** on top and one **** for the bleeder.
The more the bleeder is turned in the more it blocks vacuum/boost from the Cartech, and the higher the RPM in which it activates.
On the main ****, the more it is turned clockwise, the more it raises FP when it does activate.
So what I would do is open the bleeder all the way then turn it clockwise with 3 turns or so, and then turn the FP setting (the main setting) to a little less than 1/2 way in.
