Hey guys,
have any of you had that experience with the Vortech FMU that came with the SC kit? My wife and I drove to Safeway to pick up some things and when I turned off the engine I heard a loud buzzing noise coming from what appeared to be inside the dash. I stepped out and it was coming from the engine bay. I popped the hood and it was the fmu making all the noise. I put my hand on it and it was still running! I twisted the key to accessory and the noise stopped.
I kept putting off installing the Cartech but maybe this is the time to switch?

FMU doesn't have any electrical connections? Maybe it was bleeding off either the boost to the unit or the fuel pressure to the unit.

There's the auxiliary fuel pump pressure switch.

You mean the aux fuel pump was still running, right? The fmu is a purely mechanical device.

I know, but the fmu was vibrating when I lay my hand on top of it. I thought it was going to blow up on me! I've never read anything like this in the forum.
