Boost gauge options?

Mechanical ($50) or Eletrical ($200)? I want to mount it on the steering column like it's on the WRXs. I'm running all Autometer Ultra Lite line but I can get something different just for this one gauge. 2 1/16 seems too big for mounting on steering column. Anyone know what size WRX boost gauge is?

Since I'm going to mount it on the steering column, I'm just going to get the eletrical boost gauge. This way I don't to risk having the vacuum line getting pinched. If it's on the a pillar, I would've bought a mechanical one.

Going with eletrical. Talked to AutoMeter. Their full sweep line recalibrate itself everytime you power up. With mechanical, it will go out of spec over time.

So replace is 4 times throughout the life of the car for the price of electrical..lol...I know alot of guys running macanical boost gauges and working up to spec. It doenst take much to get a vaccum reading and a pressure reading out of a gauge to warrent an electrical gauge. I would agree if your talking abuot fuel pressure but boost is another story

I know what you mean. That's why it's such a hard decision.
