How to wire up a shift light?
How to wire up a shift light?
Hey guys, I figured I would get the best responses by posting in this forum. I have a shift light lying around that I want to install, but I don't have instructions from the manufacturer. It's got 3 wires coming off the back- black, red and green. I was told by the seller of it that the green wire goes to the back of the tach, but I'm not sure which screw to tap into. Of the 3 screws on the back of the tach, I assume I would use the one which carries the signal, not ground or power. However, I don't know which screw is the one with the signal. Do you guys have any idea?
BTW- This is to help me stay safe when spraying.
I think the best location for it is the top left corner of the steering column. Do you guys know of a place that is sort of out of the way?
