check in your local area....there are two guys on here that live in richmond, 1 fourth gen and 1 5th gen that are SCed....you could maybe check out their set ups. Also I am in charlottesville and I have a SCed fourth gen...I never dynoed before the blower but I put down (US manifold) 285/265, and I am still running rich.

I can't...its the last friday of the month so we have to close the books for the month....I would probably get off work by six, and would never be able to make it to capital to make it worth it. However I am still planning on going on Sunday...I will be coming up with some people from charlottesville...I have already been getting used to the drag radials this week...let me know if you are going to be around.

2000-2001 are 5th gen. 95-99 are 4th gen. 5th gen has diff intake manifold giving it something around 22more hp. Besides the intake manifold the motors are exactly the same. 5th gen weighs alittle more and is 2 inch longer.
I am from rich, va and so is my brother that you are refering to. I have a 4th gen and he has a 5th. I have a V1kit and he has a V2kit. If you wanna know all about that you can find the info be searching through thousands of post.

Maybe you are talking about that kid with the civic si 2001 or something. I heard he runs 10's. Im just kidding(insider joke). People talk alot, but with maximas there isnt too many bad things they can say. Plus there isnt 2,000 of them in town with boeing products so theres not really a check sheet of mods = performance for people to paper race. Hey, maybe next time my bro does get to the track he will be running 13's who knows...

of course he will

the civic he's talkin about is this asian dude that has a civic hatch si, one of those new style ones(whatever year they made them), he said that his car ran 11's, and all it has is an intake. Well hopefully i should be low low 13's by end of this year and closin in on the high 12's, i hope.

holy hangnail dude...i know who ur talking about. ive been talking to him about his car, thats the year that i was gonna get. hes a lil asian kid...but maybe its a diff one cuz hes got a sizeable load more than just an intake...hes got like a new computer thingy or something...i dunno...i met him at a car show...he was with like 5 other guys with the same car. its a white 2002-2004 civic si or something...ummm, zut alors! i forgot his name but im not trying to put ppls names out on the internet...i think his friend ran a 14 on it...but im not too sure weither it was 14.99 or a 14.00...haha

haha...i just noticed that it bleeps out stuff when u curse...well back on topic...

good luck getting ur high 12's. that would be really awsome. have u gotten your car dynoed yet? what do u plan on putting on it that will put it into the high 12's? going from 14.1 to 12's is a big hiney jump

thanks...

ya we are talkin about the same person. When i taked to him he just had an intake, i think. He also told me that it had "custom recaro seats, and like what ever brand wheels they come with, wrapped in yokahoma tires"

Well, so far i have gotten the clutch and flywheel. Next in line is an electric exhaust cut-out, SAFC2, then the 2.87, and the injectors soon after, and run my intake into the fender(which should give me another psi). I was thinkin this should get me into the deep 13's or 13 flat but from what some people have said on here, with a good 60' it should put me into high 12's. My goal is just to hit 12 something with street tires and a full interior. But if all that doesnt do the trick or i just need more a 35 shot will be in order. But with all this talk of 16.5psi on factory internals, maybe with a J&S knockgaurd, i might have to throw on a 55 shot...

sweet...an electric cut out would be awsome! hahahaha...i would be careful with that stuff man.

yea...this guy i know has a cold air...its lowered and hes got aftermarket wheels...i forgot which ones...and a few other things like a midpipe(which i like that idea instead of a full catback...)hes got like a shortshifter and suspention stuff. yea...they are recaro seats...thats one thing that i kinda liked about the hatchback civics, they came with recaros.

u should get that g-force thing...its suposed to tell u ur times and stuff...but the thing is its really accurate...some mag. did a test on it and they found it to be within like .01 of a sec on the 1/4...it would be a good way to test urself and get better.

thanks...

yea dude...i wouldnt trust all the rumors that u hear from people. after all, i heard that u ran a 13 flat and had the slips to prove it. i dunno, im a big hater of rumors, but neways...

this timer doesnt sound too accurate there...maybe the wheel hop messed with all the lil sensors that tell when u go and stuff...who knows?

thanks...

hey. this is the kid that u guys were talking about on here, brian told me to get on this forum and set things straight.

i do have a 2003 white EP3, and the rummor about me haveing a 10 sec., or 11 sec. car has been floating around since i was thinking about buying the car. and really...the day after i got the car i got it lowered with eibach springs, new wheels, cold air intake, shortshifter, front tie bar, shifter bushings, and a camber kit. please dont be spreading the rummor around, its not true and people that dont like me started it.

as for reading around the site, i would like to say that u guys have a really good site going on here, and im really knowlagable about lightweight car audio. i would love to help out some others if they need some help.

just please dont spread the rummors around when you dont know for sure that its true.

Thats cool! So you are the one that rambles on about your 300,000 grant $ you were going to build a shop with. Im not trying to be an A$$ or anything but you kinda dug that hole yourself. Maybe you have grown up since I always saw you riding shotgun in "your car"... I just know you have irritated the hell out of some people, not too much myself. You know of me or maybe just my car. Just take this as friendly advice. Keep your mouth shut more often, your car is not near special and do more listening. Being a humble person can go a long way. And yes Adam H. , I know your civic doesnt run any 13's Didnt you spread these rumors yourself??
